On March 6th, 2011, we memorialized the life of a five year old, vibrant child, a 365er who went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 12th of this year. In doing so we established the "Dallas Daniels Bags of Love Memorial" as a lasting testimony to his life who although short on earth, will be remembered forever as we feed hungry children each weekend in his memory.
Bags of Love is exploding in growth: To date, there are 18 schools in Berkeley and Jefferson County, WV that are fed from 16 churches. Over 400 are now being fed when they are out of school.
This is happening because God's love compels us to give. The Bible is very clear about taking care of widows and children. And currently, several of you give a dollar a day to make sure we have the supplies needed to offer what hungry children need each and every weekend. Thank you, each of you who are a Dollar a Day Team member. You are making an incredible difference!
To underwrite all 28 schools and to get additional Mobile Food, Clothing, Household Supply trucks on the road as well as to support multiple Hope Centers ("church on-site") to inner city kids, golf course communities, local rec centers, etc., we need additional "99" Dollar a Day Team members. In short, we need you.
